Role of a Loss Adjuster

What if one day, you get back home only to find your home ransacked by burglars? What if all the valuables that you accumulated over the years are gone? You end up losing those items which were bought as a result of hard work. The Jewelry, the Electronic Goods, and all other stuff; all gone in one night. Almost everyone knows about insurance these days.

But in case of a burglary, do you know what steps you must take in order to claim the money from the company? This is where a loss adjuster comes into picture. The company sends their own representative to look into the situation and this person is the loss assessor. The Loss Adjuster estimates the amount you are entitled to receive as compensation from the insurance company. The Loss Adjuster works from the company’s point of view and the company always looks at minimizing the amount that has to be paid as compensation.
